Euro-2024. The national team of Malta announced the squad for the selection matches with the teams of England and Ukraine

The Malta national team is preparing for the June matches of the 2024 European Championship qualifying tournament against the teams of England and Ukraine.  

The head coach of the Maltese, Michele Marcolini, announced the composition of his team for these matches, the the official website of the Football Association of Malta. The Italian specialist is counting on 26 players.

The composition of the Malta national team

Goalkeepers: Henry Bonello (Hamrun Spartans), Kane Formosa (Valletta), Matthew Greek (Sirens).

Defenders: Zac Muscat (Farense, Portugal), Jean Borg (Fidelis Andria, Italy), Ferdinando Apap, Kurt Shaw (both Hibernians), Steve Borg (Hamrun Spartans), Carl Micallef (Guja United) ).

Midfielders: Juan Corbalan, Ryan Camenzuli, Matthew Guillaume, Joseph Mbong (all Hamrun Spartans), Adam Magri (Floriana), Steven Pisani, Nicolai Muscat (both Gzira United), Kane Attard, Yannick Jankam ( both Birkirkara), Bjorn Christensen, Jake Grek (both Hibernians).

Forwards: Jody Jones (Notts County, England), Jurgen Degabriele (Hibernians), Sean Dimek (Valletta), Kyrian Nwoko (Santa Lucia), Luke Montebello (Birkirkara), Alexander Satariano (Balzan ").  

As a reminder, on June 9, the Malta national team will play an away friendly match against Luxembourg, on June 16 they will play a Euro-2024 qualifying match against England at home, and on June 19 they will face Ukraine as part of the European qualifiers.
