We bring to your attention the operative information of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00:31.05.2023 on March XNUMX, XNUMX regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The four hundred and sixty-second day of large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against our state has begun.

The Russian Federation, suffering heavy losses, continues to wage a war of aggression. He continues to use terror tactics, trying to intimidate the population of Ukraine, strikes and attacks not only military, but also civilian objects.

Yesterday, the Russian Federation carried out another massive airstrike on the territory of Ukraine, using Shahed attack UAVs. Almost all drones were destroyed by our defenders. However, there are victims among the civilian population, damaged private residential buildings, other civil and administrative infrastructure.

In total, during the past 64 hours, the enemy launched 88 air strikes and one missile attack, launched XNUMX attacks from rocket salvo systems.

The probability of launching missile and air strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on attempts to completely occupy the Luhansk and Donetsk regions. During the past day, units of the Defense Forces repelled 22 enemy attacks.

In the Volyn and Polissya directions the operational situation has not changed much.

In the Seversky and Slobozhansky directions the enemy made an unsuccessful attempt to infiltrate a sabotage and reconnaissance group across the State Border of Ukraine in the area of ​​Zelene settlement of Kharkiv region. He also carried out an airstrike in the area of ​​the village of Udy. He carried out mortar and artillery shelling of the settlements of Khrinivka, Karpovychi, Yanzhulivka, Leonivka, Chernihiv region; Seredyna-Buda, Fotovizh, Atynske, Uhroidy, Velika Pisarivka of the Sumy region.

On the Kupyansk direction the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions west of Masyutivka in the Kharkiv region and in the direction of Novoselivskyi in the Luhansk region. He carried out airstrikes in the districts of Kotlyarivka of Kharkiv and Stelmakhivka of Luhansk regions. Kamianka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kislivka, Kotlyarivka, and Berestov in the Kharkiv region were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Lyman direction the enemy carried out offensive operations south of Kuzmyny, without success. He carried out airstrikes in the areas of Bilogorivka, Luhansk region, and Yampolivka, Donetsk region. Nevske, Belogorivka, Luhansk region, and Spirne, Donetsk region, were hit by artillery fire.

In the Bakhmut direction during the past day, the enemy did not carry out offensive actions. He carried out an air strike in the Vesely area and a missile strike in the New York area of ​​the Donetsk region. Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka, Khromov, Ivanivske, Bila Gora, Severnye, Zalizne and New York of the Donetsk region suffered from enemy artillery shelling.

In the Avdiivka direction the enemy carried out offensive actions in the direction of Severny, without success. Carried out airstrikes near Avdiivka. He carried out artillery fire on the settlements of Avdiivka, Orlivka, Pervomaiske, and Netaylovo in the Donetsk region.

On the Marinsky direction our defenders repelled all enemy attacks in the area of ​​the city of Maryinka, as well as in the direction of the settlements of Pobieda and Novomykhailivka. At the same time, the enemy carried out an airstrike within the population center of Maryinka, Georgiivka and Pobieda of the Donetsk region were subjected to artillery fire.

On the Shakhtarsky direction the enemy carried out airstrikes in the districts of Vodyanyi, Prechistivka and Velika Novosilka. He shelled the settlements of Vugledar, Novoukrainka, Prechistivka, Zolota Niva, and Shakhtarske.

On the Zaporizhia and Kherson directions the enemy continues to conduct defensive actions. He carried out an airstrike in the Orikhov region of the Zaporizhzhia region. Shelled the settlements of Zelene Pole, Novopil, and Temyrivka in the Donetsk region; Olhivske, Gulyaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanilivka, Orihiv, Novoandriivka and Stepove of the Zaporizhzhia region; Sadov, Komysany, Kizomys of the Kherson region, Kherson, as well as the city of Ochakiv of the Mykolaiv region.

In the temporarily occupied Yalta Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the Russian occupation authorities are illegally seizing real estate from Ukrainian citizens who did not accept Russian citizenship during the occupation of the peninsula. Servicemen of the Russian occupying forces move into such settlements.

The invaders continue to impose Russian citizenship on the population in various ways. In particular, in Stanytsia Luhansk, employees of one of the budget institutions were warned that in June only those who have re-registered at a Russian bank will be able to receive their salary.

Over the past 11 hours, the Air Force of the Defense Forces has carried out XNUMX strikes on areas where the enemy's personnel and military equipment are concentrated, as well as a strike on its anti-aircraft missile complex.

Over the past 32 hours, our defenders have destroyed XNUMX Shahed attack UAVs.

Units of missile forces and artillery hit three control points, an area where the enemy's manpower was concentrated, four artillery units in a firing position, an anti-aircraft missile complex, three warehouses of fuel and lubricants, and a radio electronic warfare station.
