Ukraine in the European Cups 2023/2024: scheme and schedule of clubs start
Today, June 21, the Eurocup season for Ukraine begins with the drawing of the second qualifying round of the Champions League and the second qualifying round of the Conference League.2023/2024. "Dnipro-1" and "Vorskla" will know their opponents.
According to the 12th place in the UEFA spring 2022 coefficient table, our association will be represented on the international stage by five clubs.
The champion of Ukraine, Shakhtar, was supposed to start in the playoff round of the Champions League. However, due to the disqualification of Russia and the victory in the Champions League of the club, which at the same time reached the Champions League zone in its national championship (the title holder will be Manchester City or Inter), the miners received a pass immediately to the group round.
The runner-up, Dnipro-1, made it to the second qualifying round of the Champions League. He will need to overcome the resistance of three rivals to get into the Champions League group. At the starting stage, among the opponents, the Dnipro players have two options - the Swiss "Servett" or the Greek "Panathinaikos". In case of failure at any stage, our representative will move to the Europa League, but to the group - only if it defeats at least one opponent in the Champions League. Otherwise, you will have to pass the qualification in the League.
The bronze medalist of the UPL, "Zorya", will represent Ukraine in the Europa League - in the play-off round of qualification. In case of failure, our club will automatically move to the Conference League group.
A country will have two delegates on the Conference League base roster. The fourth UPL team ("Dynamo") will start in the third qualifying round, and the fifth ("Vorskla") - in the second. Thus, our teams will need to go through two and three opponents, respectively, to get to the main LK grid.

Champions League
Shakhtar (Donetsk) starts in the group round.
Draw — August 31, 1st round — September 19/20.
Dnipro-1 (Dnipro) starts in the second qualifying round.
Draw — June 21, matches — July 25/26 and August 1/2.
Europa League
Zorya (Luhansk) starts in the play-off round of qualification.
The draw is on August 7, the matches are on August 24 and 31.
League of conferences
Dynamo (Kyiv) starts in the third qualifying round.
The draw is on July 24, the matches are on August 10 and 17.
Vorskla (Poltava) starts in the second qualifying round.
Draw — June 21, matches — July 27 and August 3.
