Serhii Rebrov is the head coach of the national team of Ukraine

Today, June 7, the new head coach of the national team of Ukraine was presented in the capital's House of Football.

Serhiy Rebrov, one of the leaders, led the main team of the country on the eve of its June meeting guardsmen and bombers in the history of the national team, who has proven himself from the best side and on the coaching field - both in Ukraine and abroad.

And it is he who will prepare the blue-and-yellow team for the upcoming matches - the test against Germany, which has the status of charity and will be held in Bremen on June 12, as well as the Euro 2024 qualifying matches with the teams of North Macedonia and Malta, which will be held on June 16 and 19 in Skopje and Slovak Trnava, respectively. The contract with the specialist is concluded until July 30, 2026.

"I would like to introduce the new head coach of the national team of Ukraine with pleasure. This is the legendary football player and specialist Serhiy Rebrov. This is a long-awaited event, a new stage in the history of Ukrainian football. A special moment, since the new page will be written during martial law, in a special period for our country. We will expect from our national team a game that will please Ukrainian fans," Andriy Pavelko said during the presentation of the coach.

Pupil of Spartak (Horlivka) and UOR (Donetsk) schools.

Playing role: attacker, midfielder.
