Euro-2023 (U-19) from futsal. The youth national team of Ukraine beat Finland and made it to the semi-finals

Futsal Euro-2023 (U-19) is underway in Poreč, Croatia. The youth national team of Ukraine continued its performance in the final tournament with a match against Finland.

The blue-yellow team started the competition with a defeat against Italy (1:2), but in the next round they confidently beat Slovenia (4:2). The victory in today's match against Finland, the debutant of the European championships, brought Igor Moskvichev's wards to the semi-finals.

The first half was spectacular, full of shots on goal and goals. In the 5th minute, Niemelya played on the finishing line and put the Finns ahead, to which our boys responded with a spectacular double by Snitsarenko and a ball by Rybitsky after a corner. However, Suomi quickly closed the gap through Peltola's effort. In the 12th minute, the Ukrainians already scored - Rybitsky scored a double with an accurate shot into the far corner. But before the break, the Finns managed to reduce the deficit to a minimum thanks to Syulla's goal.

The second half of the game began with the attacks of the blue and yellow, which quickly increased their own advantage. First, Rybitsky scored a hat-trick, later Peletsky scored, and in the 28th minute, Skibchyk scored in the opponents' goal. The Finns answered with their goal on the 32nd — Taipale managed to push the ball past the keeper. This goal turned out to be the last in the match — 7:4 in favor of our national team.

Having won three points, the Ukrainians guaranteed themselves exit from the group. Moreover, the blue-yellow team managed to occupy the first place thanks to the victory of Slovenia over Italy (4:2). Our boys will play their semi-final match on September 8 against the second team of Group A, which turned out to be Spain.
