Women's Champions League. "Kryvbas" lost to "Paris" in the semifinals of the first round of the tournament

Kryvyi Rih "Kryvbas" in its debut European Cup match lost to French "Paris" within the semifinals of the first round of the Women's Champions League-2023/2024.

On June 30, Nyon, Switzerland took place of the draw the first round of the Women's Champions League. In the 2023/2024 season, for the first time in history, Ukraine will be represented in these competitions by two teams - Poltava "Vorskla" (the successor to "Zhytlobuda-2"), which plays on the Champions' Road, and Kryvyi Rih "Kryvbas", which competes on the Road of League Representatives.

The women of Kryvyi Rih found themselves in group 3, the matches of which take place in Sweden's Linköping. There, the opponent of the red and whites in the semi-finals was the French "Paris".

The first half was dominated by the French women, and in the 25th minute Dufour opened the scoring in a counterattack. After the break, Dufour scored a double with a cool shot into the far corner from an acute angle, and soon after, a hat-trick, removing the question of the winner.

Later, "Paris" scored another goal, so the final score of the meeting is 4:0. Now on September 9, the vice-champions of Ukraine will play in the match for the 3rd place with the Swedish "Linköping".

We will remind that Poltava "Vorskla" defeated Estonian "Flora" in extra time in the semi-finals of the Road of Champions (4:3), and in the final will meet with the Croatian Osijek.
