On September 22 and 26, the national women's team of Ukraine will play its first matches in the group tournament of the debut draw of the UEFA Nations League. The team's training season will begin on September 18 in Gdańsk.

The blue-yellow team will play in group B3, where they will compete with teams from Poland, Serbia and Greece.

The Ukrainian Football Association, with the support of the Polish Football Union, previously agreed with UEFA on the venue for the home match of the national women's team of Ukraine against Serbia in the opening round of the Nations League.

The match of the 1st round between Ukraine and Serbia will take place on September 22 in the Polish town of Starogard-Gdański at the city stadium named after Kazimierz Dejna. The game starts at 16.00:XNUMX Kyiv time.

We would like to add that the match of the 2nd round between Poland and Ukraine will take place on September 26 (starting at 19.00:XNUMX Kyiv time). It will be hosted by the City Stadium in Gdynia.

The national women's team of Ukraine will start the new European selection under the guidance of a new coach. We remind you that the contract expired on August 31 Spanish specialist Luis Cortes, who became the first foreign coach in the history of the national women's team of Ukraine.

Thus, the national team will start the new playing season under the leadership of acting head coach Volodymyr Pyatenko.

The coach announced the list of players of the national women's national team of Ukraine, called to the training camp to prepare and participate in international matches with the national teams of Serbia and Poland.

The training of the team, which will include 23 soccer players, will begin on September 18 in Gdańsk. It should be noted that for the first time three football players will be called to the ranks of the national team - Yana Kotyk, Iryna Maiborodina and Viktoriya Golovach.
