The national futsal team of Ukraine will begin its journey in the elite round of the 2024 World Cup selection with a match against the Belgian team.
In March, the Ukrainian futsal team took it first place in group 11 of the main selection round of the World Cup-2024 and made it to the elite round of qualification. According to the results of the draw the blue-yellow team are in Group B, where their opponents will be the teams of Poland, Serbia and Belgium.
Note that after considering several potential home sites for the Ukrainian national team, AFU stopped her choice in the arena named after Istvana Palfi, which is located in the Hungarian city of Beretjouifal. The hall itself holds 1350 spectators and is currently the home arena for the Hungarian futsal team Mezei-Vill.

Oleksandr Kosenko, the coach of the Ukrainian national team, called 15 players, among whom there are three debutants — Nazar Shved, Yevhenii Zhuk and Vladyslav Zavertaniy — to prepare for the opening matches of the elite round.
The blue and yellow teams were preparing for the official matches in Debrecen, Hungary. After that, the Ukrainians left for Belgium, where they will meet the local team today in the city of Rusdal (the game starts at 21.00:2024 Kyiv time).
