We bring to your attention the operative information of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 10.00:18.09.2023 on March XNUMX, XNUMX regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The five hundred and seventy-second day of large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun.

The Russian occupiers continue to ignore international humanitarian law, shelling not only the positions of Ukrainian troops, but also the civilian infrastructure of populated areas, terrorizing civilians. Yes, yesterday the enemy struck Ukraine with air-launched cruise missiles and Shahed-136/131 type UAVs. As a result of combat work by air defense units, six cruise missiles and six "shaheeds" were destroyed. Unfortunately, as a result of such terrorist actions of the Kremlin, there are wounded among the civilian population, destroyed residential buildings and damaged civilian infrastructure.

In addition, with the beginning of the current day, the Russian occupiers launched a massive missile and air strike using cruise missiles and attack UAVs against the civilian infrastructure of Odesa. Our defenders destroyed 18 Shahed-136/131 type attack drones and 17 cruise missiles.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct defense in the east and south of Ukraine, offensive operations in the Melitopol direction and offensive actions in the Bakhmut direction, destroy the enemy, step by step vacate the temporarily occupied territories, consolidate at the achieved borders.

During the past 35 hours, more than 15 combat clashes took place. The enemy launched 70 missile strikes and more than 47 air strikes, carried out XNUMX attacks from rocket salvo systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas.

Air strikes were carried out in Hirky, Pavlivka, and Popivka of the Sumy region; Hope of Luhansk region; Terny, Torske, Siversk, Vesele, Andriivka, New York, Avdiivka, Novomykhailivka, Staromayorske of the Donetsk region; Verbove, Robotyne, Novodanilivka, Zaporizhzhia region; Odradokamyanka and Mykolaivka, Kherson region.

About 80 settlements in the Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions came under artillery fire.

In the area of ​​responsibility of OSUV "Pivnich" on the Volyn and Polissky directions the operational situation remains without significant changes.

In the Seversky and Slobozhansky directions the enemy continues to hold a group of troops covering the state border. Conducts active diversionary activities in the border areas with the aim of preventing the transfer of our troops to dangerous directions, increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the area of ​​responsibility of OSUV "Khortytsia" in the Bakhmut direction Defense forces successfully repelled enemy attacks in the Belaya Hora area of ​​the Donetsk region. The enemy unsuccessfully tried to break through the defense of our troops in the Andriivka area of ​​the Donetsk region. The defense forces continue their assault in the Klishchiivka region of the Donetsk region, inflicting significant losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment, and entrenching themselves at the achieved boundaries.

In the area of ​​responsibility of OSUV "Tavria" in the Mariinsky direction the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the Maryinka area of ​​the Donetsk region. Here, during the past day, the enemy made 10 unsuccessful attempts to dislodge our units from their occupied positions. Simultaneously on the Avdiiv and Shakhtar directions The defense forces hold the initiative, press the enemy, carry out assault actions and win back our land.

On the Melitopol direction The defense forces continue the offensive operation, inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupying forces, and force the enemy to withdraw from the occupied positions.

In the area of ​​responsibility of OSUV "Odesa" in the Kherson direction our soldiers conduct a counter-battery fight, destroy supply depots and inflict successful damage on the enemy's rear.

During the day, the aviation of the Defense Forces carried out nine strikes on the areas where the enemy's personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated.

Units of the missile forces hit two areas where the enemy's personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated, two anti-aircraft missile complexes, 11 artillery pieces, three ammunition depots and the enemy's EW station.

Estimated losses of the enemy last day were: 620 occupants, three tanks, six armored combat vehicles, 24 artillery systems, two air defense systems, 27 operational-tactical UAVs, seven cruise missiles, 34 vehicles and five units of special equipment.
