Glory to Ukraine! The five hundred and eighty-sixth day of large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct defense in the east and south of Ukraine, offensive operations in the Melitopol direction and offensive actions in the Bakhmut direction, destroy the enemy, step by step vacate the temporarily occupied territories, consolidate at the achieved borders.

During the past day, 38 combat clashes took place. In total, the enemy carried out 10 missile and 89 air strikes, carried out 39 attacks from rocket salvo systems both on the positions of our troops and on civilian objects of our state. Also, on the night of October 1, the Russian Federation struck another blow against Ukraine, using about 30 Shahed-136/131 type attack UAVs from the south, south-east and north. 16 enemy "shaheeds" were destroyed by anti-aircraft defense forces and means. As a result of the Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are dead and wounded among the civilian population. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

In addition, tonight the Russian invaders again attacked Ukraine with kamikaze drones of the Shahed-136/131 type. Information regarding the consequences of this terrorist attack is currently being clarified.

Ivanivka, Kharkiv region, suffered airstrikes; Belogorivka, Luhansk region; Nove, Terny, Spirne, Vyimka, Vesele, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, Kostyantynivka, Avdiivka, Novomykhailivka, Zolota Niva, Urozhayne, Staromayorske of the Donetsk region; Mala Tokmachka, Zaporizhzhia Region; Beryslav, Kozatske, Olhivka and Vysoke of the Kherson region.

More than 150 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions came under artillery fire.

In the area of ​​responsibility of OSUV "Pivnich" on the Volyn and Polissky directions the operational situation remains without significant changes.

In the Seversky and Slobozhansky directions the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active diversionary activities in order to prevent the transfer of our troops to dangerous directions, increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the area of ​​responsibility of OSUV "Khortytsia" in the Kupyansk direction the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions.

In the Lyman direction Defense forces repelled enemy attacks in the area of ​​Makiivka settlement of Luhansk region.

In the Bakhmut direction the enemy unsuccessfully tried to restore the lost position in the Andriivka area of ​​the Donetsk region.

In the area of ​​responsibility of OSUV "Tavria" in the Avdiyiv direction the enemy tried to restore the lost position in the Avdiyivka area of ​​the Donetsk region, but was unsuccessful. In addition, our defenders successfully repelled enemy attacks in the Keramik, Stepovoy, Avdiyvka, and Pervomaisky regions of the Donetsk region. The enemy carried out 11 unsuccessful attacks in Maryinka and Novomykhailivka districts of Donetsk region.

On the Shakhtarsky direction the invaders unsuccessfully attacked in the Staromayorsky district of the Donetsk region.

In the Zaporozhye direction the enemy tried to restore the lost position in the Novodarivka and Verbovoy districts of the Zaporizhzhia region, but was unsuccessful.

Defense forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, offensive (assault) actions in the Bakhmut direction, inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the occupying troops, continue to entrench themselves on the occupied borders and exhaust the enemy.

In the area of ​​responsibility of OSUV "Odesa" in the Kherson direction The defense forces conduct a counter-battery fight, destroy supply depots and inflict successful damage to the enemy's rear.

During the past 13 hours, the Air Force of the Defense Forces carried out XNUMX strikes on areas where the enemy's personnel, weapons and military equipment are concentrated.

Units of the missile forces hit the anti-aircraft missile complex, control post, ammunition depot and 16 artillery pieces of the enemy.

Estimated losses of the enemy last day were: 510 occupiers, 15 tanks, nine armored combat vehicles, 48 ​​artillery systems, three anti-aircraft guns, three anti-aircraft vehicles, 18 operational-tactical UAVs, 26 vehicles and five units of special equipment.
