Glory to Ukraine! The five hundred and eighty-seventh day of large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct defense in the east and south of Ukraine, offensive operations in the Melitopol direction and offensive actions in the Bakhmut direction, destroy the enemy, step by step vacate the temporarily occupied territories, consolidate at the achieved borders.

During the past day, 35 combat clashes took place. In total, the enemy launched eight missile and 47 air strikes, carried out 27 attacks from rocket salvo systems both on the positions of our troops and on civilian objects of our state. The Russian Federation also attacked Ukraine with seven Shahed-136/131 type UAVs from the southeast. Four enemy "shahedis" were destroyed by our anti-aircraft defense. As a result of the Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are dead and wounded among the civilian population. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

Steppe of the Sumy region was hit by airstrikes; Kupyansk, Ivanivka and Cherneshchyna of Kharkiv region; Zarichne, Spirne, Lyman, Klishchiivka, Oleksandro-Shultine, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka, Paraskoviivka, Urozhyne, Staromayorske, Novodarivka of the Donetsk region; Mala Tokmachka, Zaporizhzhia Region; Mykolaivka, Kherson region.

More than 100 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions came under artillery fire.

In the area of ​​responsibility of OSUV "Pivnich" on the Volyn and Polissky directions the operational situation remains without significant changes.

In the Seversky and Slobozhansky directions the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active diversionary activities in order to prevent the transfer of our troops to dangerous directions, increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the area of ​​responsibility of OSUV "Khortytsia" in the Kupyansk direction the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions.

In the Lyman direction Defense forces repelled enemy attacks in the area of ​​Makiivka settlement of Luhansk region.

In the Bakhmut direction the enemy unsuccessfully tried to restore the lost position in the Andriivka area of ​​the Donetsk region.

In the area of ​​responsibility of OSUV "Tavria" in the Avdiyiv direction the enemy tried to restore the lost position in the Avdiyivka area of ​​the Donetsk region, but was unsuccessful. In addition, our defenders successfully repelled enemy attacks in the area east of Stepovy, Donetsk region. The enemy carried out 10 unsuccessful attacks in Maryinka and Novomykhailivka districts of Donetsk region.

On the Shakhtarsky direction Ukrainian soldiers successfully repelled enemy attacks near Staromayorskyi and Rivnopol, Donetsk region.

In the Zaporozhye direction the enemy unsuccessfully tried to restore the lost position west of Verbovoy and southeast of Malaya Tokmachka in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Defense forces of Ukraine continue the offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, offensive (assault) actions in the Bakhmut direction, inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the occupying troops, establish themselves on the occupied borders and exhaust the enemy.

In the area of ​​responsibility of OSUV "Odesa" in the Kherson direction The defense forces conduct a counter-battery fight, destroy supply depots and inflict successful damage to the enemy's rear.

During the past day, the Air Force of the Defense Forces made 11 strikes on areas where personnel, weapons and military equipment are concentrated, and one on the enemy's anti-aircraft missile complex.

Units of the missile forces hit two areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, a control post, two EW stations and four artillery means of the enemy.

In total, the enemy lost 360 occupiers, 15 tanks, eight armored fighting vehicles, 40 artillery systems, 20 operational-tactical level UAVs, 23 vehicles and five units of special equipment.
