Euro-2024 (U-19): today the youth national team of Ukraine will start in the qualification round of the tournament

Today, November 15 youth team of Ukraine (players not older than 2005 of birth) begins the fight in the qualification round of Euro-2024 (U-19).

Oleh Kuznetsov's wards will play in group 7, where they will meet with teams from Slovakia, Kosovo and Malta. The mini-tournament will be held from November 15 to 21 in the Maltese city of Ta-Kali ("Centenary" stadium). To get to the elite round of selection, you need to take first or second place in the quartet. Also, the best among the third teams will get a ticket there.

"The Maltese are the hosts, so they will be motivated. We met and defeated Kosovo, but it was a very difficult match for Ukraine. And Slovakia has always had promising youth. Therefore, I would not single out any national team. All opponents have approximately the same chance of success." — said the day before, the head coach of the youth national team of Ukraine Oleg Kuznetsov.

Today, our team will start a match against the host of the mini-tournament, the Maltese national team. The meeting starts at 12:00 Kyiv time.
