Women's Nations League. Players of the Ukrainian national team spoke about their impressions after the first days of work in Turkey

In Antalya, Turkey, the training camp of the women's national team of Ukraine is underway, timed to prepare for the playoff matches for a place in the B division of the Nations League.

On February 15, the national women's team of Ukraine left for training camp before the Nations League matches with Bulgaria, which will take place on February 23 and 27.

Last Thursday, our team gathered in Kyiv and started their journey by bus to Warsaw and then by plane to Antalya, where the training takes place. Blue and yellow midfielders Yana Malakhova and Natia Pantsulaya shared their impressions of starting work in Turkey.

"The road was difficult for the girls who traveled from Ukraine, much more difficult than for me. In the morning, we did a light workout to get some exercise. We have recovered, I think, in two days we will be ready for everything, we will prepare for the game," says Yana Malakhova.

"The only goal is victory. Especially since we made some mistakes in the previous games, so now we need to rehabilitate. I think everything will be fine. We are determined for two victories.

As for our rivals, we are stronger than the Bulgarians. It should be, I think. Several years have passed since the last meeting with them, I think they are also growing. As for the strengths and weaknesses of the opponents, the coaching staff works here, they will convey this information to us," said Natia Pantsulaya.

We will remind you that the game between Bulgaria and Ukraine will kick-off February 23 in the Bulgarian town of Kirzhali at the central stadium "Arda-Arena". The meeting starts at 16:00 Kyiv time.

The return match between Ukraine and Bulgaria will be played on February 27. Nominally a blue-yellow home game will hold at the "Mardan" stadium in the city of Antalya (Turkey). The start of this match is at 15:00 Kyiv time.
