On February 13, with the referees of the Premier League and assistant referees, who conducted the meeting, met President of UAF Andriy Shevchenko. During the conversation with the referee, the head of the national association emphasized that it is necessary to restore the confidence of the football community not only in the UAF as a whole, but also in the referees in particular.

At the beginning of the training camp, the officials observed a moment of silence in memory of the fallen soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, because it is our fighters who at the cost of their lives resist the intense pressure from the Russian occupiers and allow Ukrainian football to continue to live and hold competitions. The head of the UAF referees' committee, Luciano Lucci, separately emphasized the attention of the meeting participants to the exclusive use of the official language in work during the upcoming matches and exemplary behavior outside the field.

After a pedagogical test on the Laws of the Game and a UEFA video test, the referees and assistant referees of the Premier League took part in 11 theoretical sessions, listening to the requirements of FIFA, UEFA and UAF regarding the interpretation of various game situations, such as handball, careless fouls, offside, disruption of an obvious goal-scoring opportunity, decisions on episodes in the penalty area, etc.

The special focus of the educational and training work was on the work of VAR and recommendations from experts on the use of the referee's video assistant in game situations that took place in UPL matches of the first part of the 2023/2024 season. Also, a separate lecture was devoted to the teamwork of referees and referee assistants - with a discussion of decisions when determining various game situations.

After the theoretical classes, the football Themis employees were traditionally expected to take the FIFA physical training tests on the field. As part of the practical part of the meeting, the referees successfully passed the Yo-Yo test, and the referee assistants passed the Ariet test.
