The youngest national team of Ukraine, U-15 (footballers born no older than 2010), will participate in the UEFA Development Tournament, which will be held in Portugal from December 13 to 18.

The first-ever training camp of the youngest national team of Ukraine, U-15, has begun. The blue-and-yellow team will play at the UEFA Development Tournament in Portugal. Our team's rivals, in addition to the hosts, will be the national teams of Italy and Turkey.

The head coach of this team, Dmytro Mykhailenko, gave a comment to the official UAF website regarding this training camp.

— Expectations are very positive, — said Mr. Dmytro. — This is the first tournament in which U-15 players participate. Therefore, I think that they will enjoy playing in such a company, will strive to show all their talents and win.

As for the plans for the training process, our staff wants to get to know the players born in 2010 better, introduce them to the game idea and philosophy, and watch more players who play abroad. We also want to see the level of our young players against the background of the leading football countries in Europe. We have little information about our opponents, so we will study them directly during the competition.

The composition of the Ukrainian U-15 national team

Goalkeepers: Dmytro Pozhar (Dynamo Kyiv), Vladyslav Maksymenko (Rukh Lviv), Danylo Sychev (Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih).

Defenders: Maksym Mysiura, Kyrylo Savchenko, Mykyta Bohatyr (all — Shakhtar Donetsk), Danyil Shevchuk, Vladyslav Dzyubenko (both — Dynamo Kyiv), Kostyantyn Kyslyanka (Rukh Lviv), Ilya Yablonskyi (Sporting, Portugal).

Midfielders: Danylo Dyachok, Vsevolod Borisov, Artem Valihursky, Zakhar Osmukhin (all — Dynamo Kyiv), Illya Byrladianu, Kyryl Rotar, Dmytro Melchenko (all — Shakhtar Donetsk), Myroslav Donyk (LNZ Cherkasy), Artem Rybak (Barcelona, ​​Spain), Zakhar Getmanov (Feyenoord, Netherlands).

The tournament will be held at the Cidade do Futebol sports complex in Lisbon. According to the regulations, each team can register 22 players (boys born no older than 2010), and four of them can be born in 2009.
