Today, December 15, the youngest national team of Ukraine, U-15 (footballers born no older than 2010), continued its performance at the UEFA Development Tournament in Portugal. The competition is taking place on the fields of the Cidade do Futebol sports complex in Lisbon. 

Dmytro Mykhayenko's team started with a defeat against Portugal (0:3), and today we met with our peers from Italy.

The blue and yellows started the match well, and in the 9th minute Bodak opened the scoring, turning around at the entrance to the penalty area and shooting into the far corner. The Italians responded by hitting the post. Later, Bodak and Osmukhin made inaccurate shots. In the 30th minute, the Squadra Azzurri equalized the score — Croci earned and converted a penalty. The Italians were more active before the break, while the Ukrainians managed to score a second time, but did it from offside.

The Apennines missed several chances at the start of the second half, and in the 56th minute our guys scored — Donyk entered the penalty area and shot a shot to Bodak's leg, who scored a double. Later, the Italians fought back when Donner managed to successfully complete a counterattack.

Later, the teams exchanged sharp attacks, and there were chances at both goals. During such a game, the Ukrainians managed to score - in a counterattack, Rotar made a brilliant cutting pass, and Savchenko beat the goalkeeper. However, the Italians fought back in a moment - Donner made the score 3:3. According to the rules of the competition, the teams scored post-match penalties, and here luck smiled on our guys - 4:3.

The blue-and-yellows will play the final match of the tournament on December 18 against Turkey (kick-off at 13:00 p.m. Kyiv time).
