Today, December 19, the Ukrainian U-15 national team (football players born no older than 2011) played its second match at the UEFA Development Tournament in Portugal.

In the opening match, Volodymyr Samborsky's team beat Greece with a score of 3: 1, The Irish lost to the hosts, the Portuguese, 0:5. The coaches of both teams made a significant rotation of the starting lineups. The blue-and-yellows only had three players — Tsebenyak, Kochura, and Drozd — again start from the first minutes. The Irish had one more change — nine.

The first half was an even battle with alternating initiative. However, there were few sharp moments. The most dangerous episode occurred at the end of the half: Hudson took advantage of a mistake by the Ukrainians in defense, but could not beat Simoskov.

After the break, the blue-and-yellows increased their activity, earned many set pieces and were rewarded for their perseverance. In the 70th minute, after a throw-in on the right flank, Nagayets took over the game, beat several opponents and, already in someone else's penalty area, gave a convenient pass to Bonyuk. He scored into the far corner without any obstacles - 1:0. This result remained until the final whistle. The Ukrainian U-15 national team won its second victory in a row.

Volodymyr Samborsky's team will play their next match on December 22 against the hosts, the Portuguese national team.
