The annual meeting of UEFA's social and environmental sustainability managers took place in Switzerland, bringing together representatives of all national associations - members of the organization.

The Ukrainian Football Association was represented at the event by Olena Balbek, Director of Strategic Development and Sustainability of the UAF, CEO of the UAF Foundation, and Liliya Kovtun, Head of the UAF Social Projects Department.

During the meeting, the participants discussed key areas of development of social and environmental responsibility in football, as well as familiarized themselves with the updated strategy of further UEFA initiatives. Among the main topics are environmental protection, gender equality, the fight against racism, combating various types of addictions (including digital), as well as the development of programs for children and youth.

The Ukrainian delegation presented current initiatives being implemented in Ukraine, including children's football rehabilitation camps and a social project for the development of indoor football - "League of the Strong".

During the current year, the association plans to actively implement projects within the framework of UEFA's social and environmental sustainability strategy. This will be done both through the involvement of internal partners and through cooperation with other national associations in Europe.
