National Future League (NFL) — is the renewed Ukrainian youth football championship, organized by the Ukrainian Football Association (UAF).

Starting from the 2025/2026 season, instead of the former abbreviation DUFL (Children's and Youth Football League), the championship will officially be called the "National League of the Future." The main goal of the reform is to educate a new generation of players for the Ukrainian national teams.

Competition structure

The system includes four divisions: PRO League, Elite League, Higher League, and First League.
521 teams are participating in the 2025/2026 NLM season. This is 12,370 football players in four age categories.

Key innovations and reforms

A new PRO League of the country's 12 strongest teams has been introduced, formed on a sporting basis based on the results of the two previous seasons — this is designed to increase the level of competition and promote talent development.

Each club has its own results table by age category, as well as a final club table that will reflect overall achievements.

All PRO League matches will be centrally broadcast in free access on a single official YouTube channel. Increased requirements for match organization, refereeing, and high-quality media coverage of the tournament are also planned.

NLM is a systemic reform of children's and youth football in Ukraine, aimed at identifying and developing talents from an early age and preparing them for national teams.
