Press conference before the Poland-Ukraine match: comment by Vitaliy Mykolenko

Transcript of the press conference of the Ukrainian national team player Vitaliy Mykolenko before the friendly match Poland - Ukraine. Video recording of the press conference by this link.

- What are your impressions of joining the national team?

- Impressions are positive as always. We met the new coaching staff. Everything is as always, good impressions.

- This is your first training camp in Ukraine, such an unusual way to get there. We trained in the morning, then we got across the border, and tomorrow is the game. How did you manage to do that, given your physical condition?

- We now feel like the guys who always play in European competitions. And I can say for myself that it's not easy. But it's a shame to complain, we came to play a match for the national team. In principle, we spent seven hours getting to the stadium today. That's a lot before the game, but I think we have time to recover by tomorrow evening.

- Did you come here straight from the airport?

- So.
