In April-May, the Ukrainian Football Association and regional football associations will hold "Open Football Festivals" to engage children who have not previously played sports in grassroots football, as well as provide children with psychosocial support and safety knowledge necessary in wartime.

On April 8, 2026, a sports quest was held at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University as part of the Ukrainian Football Association's project "Open Football Festivals".

Open football festivals are back: UAF launches a new season in Transcarpathia, involving children who have never played football in the game.

In March, events for children in youth football hubs of the Open Football Festivals project continue in the regions of Ukraine.
