This initiative recalls April 26, 1986, when the planned semi-final of the Kyiv Oblast Cup between the team "Budivelnik" (Prypiat) and their rival did not take place due to the explosion at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.

For over 30 years, "The Bells of Chernobyl" has been uniting young athletes, expressing gratitude to the liquidators of the accident and the heroes who defend Ukraine today. A low bow to the heroes.
