The document was signed by the President of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Andriy Shevchenko, and the Deputy Commander of the 8th Corps of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Hero of Ukraine, Colonel Pavlo Rozlach.

The memorandum envisages cooperation in three key areas:

— popularization of military service and support for veterans and their families through sports and educational events;

— promoting a healthy lifestyle and physical activity among military personnel and veterans, in particular through football and by involving millions in the game;

— organization of sports events for veterans aimed at their physical rehabilitation, psychological support, and social adaptation in civilian life.
