The Ukrainian Football Association and the Football Association of the Kingdom of the Netherlands signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, launching a new stage of cooperation between the two federations.

The document was signed on the eve of the 76th FIFA Congress in Vancouver by the presidents and general secretaries of both associations: Andriy Shevchenko and Igor Hryshchenko from the UAF side, and Frank Paauw and Geis de Jong from the Dutch side. 

The signing of the Memorandum is a particularly significant step: the FA of the Kingdom of the Netherlands rarely enters into such agreements. For the UAF, this is yet another memorandum with one of the world's leading football associations, confirming the growing international prestige of Ukrainian football.

The partnership will cover coach training, youth and women's football, football management and the general organization of football activities. A separate important area will be digitalization - an area in which the Dutch association is one of the world leaders. The UAF and the FA of the Kingdom of the Netherlands already have successful experience of exchange in this area, as digital transformation is one of the priorities for the development of Ukrainian football.

For the Dutch side, the signing of the document is also a recognition of the exceptional resilience that Ukrainian football has demonstrated in recent years. Despite the ongoing challenges facing the country, the UAF continues to ensure the development of football at a high level, which has made a significant impression on the European football community.

UAF President Andriy Shevchenko emphasized the importance of international cooperation: "We highly appreciate the friendship and support of the FA of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. This agreement opens up new opportunities for exchanging experience, improving the professional level of our specialists, and building an even stronger Ukrainian football in the future."
