The UAF project "Football in Schools" is one of the areas of mass football, which involves introducing children to the basics of playing football. Training is conducted by physical education teachers and football coaches who undergo a free advanced training course. The Ukrainian Football Association also provides the sections with balls and necessary equipment for classes.

The Zaporizhia Regional Football Association is actively working within the framework of this project, having created its own “School Football Sections”.

It is thanks to professional and involved teachers that school football is actively developing in Zaporizhia: children train regularly, and city school competitions, in particular the "School Ball" tournament, are being resumed.

The event was attended by Acting Director of the Department of Education and Science of the Zaporizhzhia City Council Vitaliy Lysenko, Chairman of the ZOAF Mykola Bely, Executive Director of the ZOAF Maksym Lupashko, and representatives of the football community. They congratulated the teachers and thanked them for their hard work with children and the development of sports in Zaporizhzhia.
