UEFA Cup 2018-2019 season kicks off: what awaits Ukraine?
The UEFA Cup of Regions Cup 2018-2019 season starts this week, reports the UEFA official website reports.. In the final stage of the tournament in June 2019, eight winning teams of qualifying groups will perform.
According to the rules of the competition, teams receive tickets to the UEFA Regions' Cup, having overcome the selection at the national level. San Marino and Malta are represented by national amateur teams. At the moment, only the composition of the groups that will play in June is known. The rest of the groups are still created by associations.
In the previous round, the teams were divided into three quartets, the matches of which will end on July 23. The group winners, as well as the two best teams that will take second place, will continue the fight in the intermediate round.
The matches of the intermediate round in the format of mini-tournaments will take place from June 14 until the end of the year. Eight winners of the groups will receive tickets to the final stage, which will be held in June 2019 on the field of one of the participants.
The UEFA Regions Cup draw in 2017 ended with the triumph of the Croatian "Zagreb".
The representative of Ukraine will play in qualifying group 6, and the matches will take place on October 2-8 in our country. The rivals are the teams of Spain, Azerbaijan and Finland.

Group A (June 4-10): "South Wales" (Wales), "Euboean region" (Greece), FYR Macedonia, "Gothenburg" (Sweden).
Group B (June 5-11): "Buzeu" (Romania), "MNZ Maribor" (Slovenia), "Shabonama" (Georgia), "Central Scotland" (Scotland).
Group C (July 17-23): Kazakhstan, Israel, Lithuania, Estonia.

Group 2 (dates to be determined later): Ireland, England, Slovakia, winner of Group B of the preliminary round.
Group 3 (dates to be determined later): Croatia, France, Latvia, Group C winner of the preliminary round.
Group 4 (October 4-10): Turkey, Bulgaria, Belarus, best runner-up in the previous round.
Group 5 (dates to be determined later): Germany, Serbia, Malta, second best runner-up in the previous round.
Group 6 (October 2-8): Spain, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Finland.
Group 7 (June 14-20): "Western Region" (Hungary), "Hradec Králové" (Czech Republic), "East Sarajevo" (Bosnia and Herzegovina), San Marino.
Group 8 (October 9-15): Italy, Poland, Switzerland, Moldova.
