FIFA rating. The national team of Ukraine in the updated register again takes 35th place

On August 16, FIFA updated the world ranking of national teams, in which Ukraine again ranks 35th, having 1468 points.

FIFA has released its new ranking, calculated according to a new formula, which increased the value of the results of matches of the final tournaments of the World Cup and continents. Compared to the previous, June classification, its leader, the German national team, which failed to perform at the 2018 World Cup, fell to 15th position. Leading the rankings, rising to six places, the French team - the winner of the World Cup. The Croatian national team, a World Cup finalist, jumped 16 steps to become fourth. Also note the progress of Uruguay (+9) and England (+6). 

The national team of Ukraine in the new ranking remained in the same 35th place, which was in June under the old scheme. Among the representatives of Europe, our national team is currently in 21st place.

Ukraine's National League rivals, the national teams of Slovakia and the Czech Republic, rank 26th and 44th, respectively.
