Having defeated Real Farm, Kryvyi Rih Girnyk led the standings in Group B

In the 11th round of the second league in group "B" the first failure was Kremenchug "Flint", and this immediately led to a change of leader.

Last Wednesday, six second-league teams took part in the third preliminary round of the Ukrainian Cup, and there was no shortage of experts who assured that they would not have the strength to successfully play in the next calendar matches of the championship. But these predictions did not come true. Only Cherkasy-Academy lost points in Vinnytsia, but we should not forget that the local Niva also played a cup match, after all, and it is trying to rise in the class.

Other participants in the cup battles won their matches, however, "Minai", "Kalush" and "Girnyk" won over the outsiders, but "Crystal" inflicted the first defeat on the leader - "Flint". This failure of football players from Kremenchuk was immediately taken advantage of by Kryvyi Rih, who after the third victory in a row topped the standings. And yet the central match in group "B" took place in Kherson. The game was held with the territorial advantage of the hosts. "Crystal" reached its goal in the middle of the second half, when after a corner Stanislav-Nuri Malysh adjusted the flight of the ball to the net of "Flint". After the final whistle, Serhiy Shevtsov, the director of IFC Crystal, who now also serves as head coach, said that he really wants his wards to act not only in fights with leaders with such dedication…

And in group "A" we will note "Veres", which won for the third time in a row away victory - this time over the neighbor on the tournament table, "Polissya". Anatoliy Bezsmertnyi, the leader of the Zhytomyr team, admitted that his wards missed the first half, allowing the guests to open the score. After the break, the hosts acted more aggressively, but, unlike Veres, did not realize their goal moments. This victory allowed Oleg Shandruk's wards, who until recently grazed the rear, to gain a foothold in the leading group, which continues to be led by the debutant of the competition at the professional level - "Pass". Although in fairness it should be said that Zakarpattia, playing without their captain, Mykhailo Kopolovets, were close to losing points in the match against Podillya, but they were helped by the guest defender Vladislav Gres, who cut the ball into his own goal
