Intermission in the Premier League: players of the national team of Ukraine - at the training camp of Shakhtar and Dynamo

Ukrainian national teams of the leading clubs of the Premier League are preparing for the resumption of the season at foreign training camps.

Shakhtar will play its first official match in 2019 on February 14 in Kharkiv against German Eintracht in the 1/16 finals of the Europa League. The miners decided to spend the winter training, which is divided into two stages, in Turkey.

Shakhtar's first training camp ended yesterday. Paulo Fonseca's team played two friendly matches: first, they lost to Croatian Hajduk - 1: 4, and then defeated Azerbaijan's Karabakh - 3: 1. Both of these meetings were attended by players who were called up by Andriy Shevchenko for the last training camp of the national team of Ukraine in 2018: Pyatov, Butko, Kryvtsov, Matvienko, Stepanenko, Kovalenko, Bolbat. One goal was scored in two matches - on account of Marlos, who missed the collection of blue and yellow in November due to injury.

After a short break, Donetsk will hold a second training camp in Turkey (January 29 - February 12), in which they will play five sparring matches. Among the rivals are the Danish Hobro (January 31), the Polish Lech (January 31), the Serbian Partizan (February 3), the Bulgarian Botev (February 4) and the Austrian Wacker (February 7).

Dynamo Kyiv, which will meet Greek Olympiacos in the first match of the 1/16 Europa League on February 14, traditionally preferred Spanish Marbella in the winter, where the white and blues also divided the training into two stages. Like the miners, Kyiv played the last control match of the first training camp yesterday, which became their third. In general, the results are as follows: victory over German "Bochum" (3: 0), a draw with Romanian "Steaua" (1: 1) and defeat by Czech "Sparta" (2: 3).

Andriy Shevchenko's wards from the last, November "draft" - Tsygankov (two goals) and Shaparenko played three matches each, Boyko, Burda, Mykolenko and Buyalsky took part in two sparring matches.

The next Dynamo training camp will take place in Marbella from January 30 to February 13. Kyiv residents plan to play five friendly matches there. The rivals are: Bulgarian CSKA (February 2), Swedish "Ostersund" (February 5), "New England Revolution" from the USA (February 6), Swedish "Malmo" (February 8) and Norwegian "Volerenga" (February 9).
