UEFA Youth League. Dynamo Kyiv conceded to German Hoffenheim in penalty shootout

In the match of the 1/8 final of the UEFA Youth League 2018/2019, Dynamo Kyiv lost at the Hoffenheim away and dropped out of the tournament.

Another rival of Dynamo's youth in the playoffs after a brilliant one help over "Juventus" was the representative of Germany, "Hoffenheim", with which in the group stage of the Champions League met "Miner".

The game took place at the Dietmar-Hopp Stadium in Sinsheim. At the beginning of the match, the home team had better control of the ball, but closer to the break, Kyiv got used to it and started dangerously approaching the Hoffenheim goal. Bulets had the best opportunity in the first half, but scored from the middle distance over the crossbar, and later Nadolsky, who was in a comfortable position, was prevented from scoring at the last moment by the defender.

And in the 76th minute, Dynamo goalkeeper Morgun saved the goal after a dangerous "shot" by Alberico from close range. In the final minutes, the hosts dominated, but the game ended without goals. The Hoffenheim players performed the penalty shootout better.
