Ingulets is the first ever Cup finalist in the second division!

Petrovsky Ingulets minimally beat Luhansk Zorya at home and made it to the Ukrainian Cup final.

On the way to the first ever semi-finals of the National Cup, a representative of the first league passed Kovaliv's Kolos (1: 0), Gornostaiv's Mir (3: 0), Mariupol (3: 1) and Lviv's Karpaty (1: 1, penalty 5: 4). Luhansk made its way to the top four for the second time, having overcome Chernihiv "Desna" (1: 1, penalty 5: 4) and "Lviv" (1: 0).

Nervous starting minutes were waiting for Ingulets - in the debut of the match, the player of the national team of Ukraine Karavayev could excel, the guests scored several more times. However, withstanding the pressure, Petrivka unexpectedly opened the score: Zaporozhets closed Balan's shot from the right flank. Soon Luhansk residents responded with a good blow from Mykhailychenko - past the far corner.

At the end of the first half, the hosts managed to double their advantage. Generous met the standard from the right flank, the ball unpleasantly for Filipe hit the lawn of the stadium "Ingulets" and flew into the goal net "Dawn". However, Vernidub's wards managed to reduce the gap before the break - already in the time added by the referee Cheberko distinguished himself with a ricochet.

In the second half, Luhansk began to play much sharper, trying to score the second goal. Lunyov lost a good moment without hitting the plane of the goal with his head, Khomchenovsky added activity to the front, coming on as a substitute. If for some time "Ingulets" still carried out attacks and scored on the opponents' goal, then closer to the end of the match it closed on its own half of the field.

At the end of the match, Zorya continued to press - Khomchenovsky, Silas and Budkivsky beat, but Sytnikov was on top. Even six minutes added to the second half did not help the guests to achieve their goal in the form of a goal. Karavaev had the last moment in the match, who scored a little above the goal during the final assault. As a result, Ingulets won the historic right to make its debut in the decisive stage of the Cup of Ukraine.
