Club season 2018/2019 attacking midfielder of the national team of Ukraine Yevhen Konoplyanka can hardly bring in an asset.

Turning to the reasons, we can identify several: injuries at the beginning of the season and in its crucial moments, the change of head coach of "Schalke" and a swing with the playing form of the player. However, the last point, of course, is closely related to the first two.

Trips to our national team were a real relief for Konoplyanka this season. Four goals scored in the national team of Ukraine - a vivid illustration of this thesis.

However, as we have already noted, in Gelsenkirchen Eugene's affairs were very difficult. Konoplyanka scored his only goal for Schalke in the 2018/2019 season on January 25 this year against Hertha.

Prospects for the season 2019/2020

Apparently, the time spent by Yevhen Konoplyanka in Schalke is coming to an end. I don't even know exactly which club the Ukrainian attacking midfielder will start the new season in. There are a lot of rumors about our guy's persona, but it hasn't reached the specifics yet. So we all have to wait.
