If in the previous draw of the Cup of Ukraine the players of "Minaya" were prevented from making it to the quarterfinals by the grand "Dynamo", this season the Transcarpathians quite confidently overcame the 1/8 line, beating "Lviv".

- To be honest, I did not expect that the team of the elite division will play with the debutant of the first league number two, looking back, - said the manager of "Minaya" Vasyl Kobin, commenting on the official website of the UAF cup confrontation with "citizens". - As the guests did not lack not only motor players, but also those who can give a split pass, in a few moments it was not easy for us to keep our goal intact.

Of course, Minai benefited from the fact that at the beginning of the second half Lviv remained in the minority. There are more opportunities to control the ball for a long time and effectively play the extra, in addition, home-made work during the draw of standard provisions. I think that we won "Lviv" deservedly, and, I confess, it is very nice to realize that you are making history, because before "Minai" did not stay so long in the cup distance. I would just like to see as many fights as this one as possible. Because it is the victories in such confrontations that help to progress faster.

Who would I like to see as a rival of Minaya in the quarterfinals of the Cup of Ukraine? It doesn't matter, because at this stage there are no weak counterparts. The only wish is for us to play at home.
