Match Sweden - Ukraine April 25 on UAF Youtube Channel!

On Saturday, April 25, at 20.00 pm on the Ukrainian Football Association's Youtube channel, watch the match of the national teams of Sweden and Ukraine, which took place on February 9, 2011.

Fans of the Ukrainian national team are invited to recall the preparation of the Blue and Yellows for the historic 2012 European Home Championship.

Since May 2010, the Ukrainian team has played only friendly matches, selecting the optimal lineup and looking for a formula for a successful game under the leadership of acting head coach Yuri Kalitvintsev.

The national team of Ukraine accepted the invitation to take part in the prestigious international tournament Cyprus Cup and in February 2011 went to Nicosia, where our guys, in addition to the hosts, were already waiting for quite formidable rivals - the teams of Romania and Sweden.

After a scoreless draw with the Romanians and winning a series of post-match penalties in the finals, the Ukrainians had to face the Swedes. The Scandinavians put on the decisive game of the tournament the strongest lineup with Andreas Isaxson, Kim Chelllström, Johan Elmander, and, of course, Zlatan Ibrahimovich.

As part of the blue-yellows, four current national teams took part in that match - Taras Stepanenko, Andriy Yarmolenko, Artem Kravets and Yevhen Konoplyanka. And some even managed to score their debut goal for the Ukrainian team!

Who was marked with the premier ball and how did one of the Ukrainian-Swedish rehearsals end before the inaugural face-to-face meeting of these teams at Euro 2012?

Don't miss out on UAF's Youtube Channel on April 25th at 20.00pm!
