First-league players Veres, Agribusiness and Prykarpattya addressed the PFL administration with an official letter requesting to postpone the matches of the first round of the Ukrainian championship due to coronavirus diseases of a group of players and staff.

After a detailed study of the situation, it was decided to postpone the matches "Agribusiness" - "Polissya", "Obolon" - "Veres" and "Girnyk-Sport" - "Prykarpattia", which were to take place on September 5.

By the way, Ivano-Frankivsk will start a new championship with a new head coach. On September 2, Volodymyr Kovalyuk, who had held this position since 2016, resigned. Most likely, the decision of the club management on radical changes on the coaching bridge was influenced by the defeat of "Prykarpattia" in previous round of the Cup of Ukraine from "Podillya". The main candidate for the vacant position is Ruslan Mostovy, who previously headed the "youth" of Lutsk "Volyn".

By the way, after the appearance at the helm of the main staff of Volyn Vasyl Sachko in the team began serious personnel perturbations. Two more players left Lutsk, Yaroslav Konkolnyak and Rostyslav Voloshinovych, instead Vladislav Shapoval from Dnipro-1 expressed a desire to return to Volyn.

Former Luchan forward Stanislav Kulish has already got a job at Kremen. And Obolon, after it was left by experienced Rinar Valeev and Artem Kovbasa, who decided to try their hand at Chornomorets, quickly found a replacement, inviting Igor Zagalsky from Ingulets and Ivan Matyazh from Avangard.

After the resignation of Oleksiy Godin from the position of the head coach of the second-league Metalurh, Volodymyr Mykytyn, who worked with the youth team of Luhansk Zorya, was offered to be at the helm of Zaporizhzhya. Serhiy Rudenko, Ruslan Galiguzov and Serhiy Kovalyov will help him. The club management set a task for the coaching staff and players to return Zaporizhia to a place in the first division.
