UEFA Odds Table: Ukraine climbs to 11th place, beating Scotland and Turkey
Dynamo's victory over Ghent in the Champions League qualifying play-off round (one point) and the Kyiv club's exit to the group stage (four bonuses) on Tuesday added five more points to Ukraine in the UEFA coefficient table.
In total, Dynamo scored 7,5 points, Shakhtar has four bonuses, Kolos and Desna have 2 and 0,5 points, respectively. Zorya will start its campaign later. Thus, Ukraine currently has 14 points, or 2,8 points. Thanks to yesterday's harvest, our association rose to 11th place, bypassing Scotland and Turkey.
The gap with Austria is 1,025 points (6 points), we are ahead of Turkey by 0,3 (2), Scotland - by 0,975 (5). It is with these rivals that we will fight for the 10th position, which allows us to declare our representative to the group round of the Champions League directly (11th place gives such a right only under certain circumstances).
This table forms the representation for the European Cup season-2022/2023. The 11th place currently occupied by Ukraine involves five clubs: two - in the Champions League (one - in the third qualifying round, one - in the playoffs), one - in the Europa League (in the playoffs) ) and two in the League of Conferences (one in the second qualifying round, one in the third qualifying round).
