The list of players from Ukrainian clubs called up to the preparatory training camp of the national team has been announced

The head coach of the national team of Ukraine Oleksandr Petrakov announced the names of 25 players of Ukrainian clubs who will start training in the national team on April 29 in Slovenia.

At the suggestion of UEFA and at the invitation of the Football Association of Slovenia, Ukrainians will be able to live and train on the basis of the national association of this country, located in the Gorenjska region and has three full football fields, a hotel, congress center and even a castle. In fact, our team is located in the hotel "Brdo", located on the territory of this training center.

Players of Ukrainian clubs will start training on April 29, and performers from foreign championships will join them after their clubs finish the official season.

Dynamo defenders Oleksandr Tymchyk and Mykita Burda will not be able to help the Ukrainian national team due to injuries. At the same time, midfielders Mykhailo Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk and Oleksiy Hutsulyak from Dnipro-1 received their debut for the national team.

Goalkeepers: Georgiy Bushchan (Dynamo Kyiv), Andriy Pyatov, Anatolii Trubin (both Shakhtar Donetsk), Dmytro Riznyk (Vorskla Poltava).

Defenders: Oleksandr Karavaev, Ilya Zabarny, Oleksandr Syrota, Denys Popov (all - Dynamo Kyiv), Mykola Matvienko, Serhiy Kryvtsov, Viktor Kornienko, Valery Bondar, Yuhym Konoplya (all - Shakhtar Donetsk).

Midfielders: Taras Stepanenko, Mykhailo Mudryk (both Shakhtar Donetsk), Serhiy Sydorchuk, Viktor Tsygankov, Mykola Shaparenko, Vitaliy Buyalskyi, Denys Garmash (all Dynamo Kyiv), Serhiy Buletsa (Zorya Luhansk), Oleksandr Pikhalyonok, Oleksiy Gutsulyak (both - SC Dnipro-1).

Forwards: Artem Dovbyk (SC Dnipro-1), Artem Besedin (Dynamo Kyiv).

It will be recalled that the semifinals of the playoffs of the European qualification for the 2022 World Cup between Scotland and Ukraine will take place on June 1. The winner of the duel in the playoff finals will meet Wales on June 5, and will be matches of the League of Nations-2022/2023.

During May, the national team will hold several friendly games: dates and sparring partners will be determined in the near future.
