An example of mutual support from regional associations: the drawing of the open regional football cup has ended in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
Two football teams from Kharkiv Oblast, "Avangard" from Loziv and "Kolos" from Sakhnovshchyan, met in a duel for the main football trophy of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast in the final of the Open Cup of the region.
Realizing that due to active hostilities in Kharkiv and neighboring Donetsk regions, it is currently impossible to hold regional football competitions, the Football Association of Dnipropetrovsk region invited teams from these regions to participate in their competitions.

At the time of the final, FC Kolos already had gold medals in the Super League of the Dnipropetrovsk region, while FC Avangard finished in fourth place in this tournament. For both teams, it was a fundamental personal confrontation, which added emotion to the decisive match.
