UEFA Youth League. Shakhtar U-19 beat peers from Antwerpen

In the 5th round of the UEFA Youth League group round, Shakhtar Donetsk U-19 defeated their peers from Belgian Antwerp.

The miners hosted their opponents in Norderstedt, Germany. Already in the 7th minute, Oleksandr Yushchenko brought Shakhtar forward, but the Belgians fought back in the 60th minute. However, the Ukrainians soon regained their advantage thanks to an own goal by their opponents, and at the end of the meeting, Daniil Savin established the final result — 3:1.

Unfortunately, the miners lost their chances of getting out of the group. The orange and black team will play their next UEFA Youth League match on December 13 away against Porto.
