2024: what events await Ukrainian football in the new year
In the new year, 2024, new important events await our teams. We bring to your attention a preliminary calendar of official competitions with the participation of Ukrainian clubs and national teams.
February 8 the draw for the League of Nations-2024/2025 will take place. The national team of Ukraine got into the second basket of League B.
February 15 "Shakhtar" will host the French "Marseille" in Hamburg at the "Volksparkstadion" within the connecting round of the Europa League.
February 22 "Shakhtar" will play a guest return match against "Marseille".
February 23 the women's national team of Ukraine will play the first contact match with Bulgaria in the town of Kirzhali at the central stadium "Arda-Arena" for the preservation of a place in the second division of the League of Nations.
February 24 matches of the 18th round will resume the season in the Vbet League.
February 27 the women's national team of Ukraine will play a return match against the Bulgarian women at home.
February 27 draw will be held for the European qualification of the first ever Futsal World Cup among women's teams, which will be held in 2025.

March 6-12 the youth national team of Ukraine (football players not older than 2007) will play in the elite round of Euro-2024 selection (U-17) with the teams of Greece (host), Switzerland and Slovakia.
March 14-20 the women's national team of Ukraine will face Spain, the Netherlands (the host) and Turkey in the second round of the European Championship 2023/2024 (WU-17).
March 20-26 the youth national team of Ukraine (football players not older than 2005) will play in the elite round of Euro-2024 selection (U-19) with the teams of Switzerland, North Macedonia (host) and Latvia.
On March 21 in the city of Zenica, the semi-final match of the play-off of the League of Nations (Path B), which is a selection for Euro-2024, will take place at the Bilino Pole stadium, Bosnia and Herzegovina - Ukraine.
On March 26 the final of the Nations League play-off (Path B), which is the selection for Euro-2024, will take place. In the event of a victory over the Bosnians, the Ukrainian national team will host a team from another semi-final, Israel-Iceland, in Wroclaw, Poland, at the Tarczynski Arena Wroclaw stadium (if the blue-and-yellow team do not pass the Balkans, they will play a control match with the loser of this confrontation).
On March 26 the youth national team of Ukraine will play against Azerbaijan as part of the Euro-2025 selection (U-21).
3 April the semi-final matches of the Vbet Cup of Ukraine-2023/2024 will take place.
April 3-9 the youth women's national team of Ukraine will face France, the Czech Republic (the host) and Norway in the second round of the European Championship 2023/2024 (WU-19).
April 3-9 matches of the 1st-2nd rounds of the Euro-2025 qualifying tournament among women's teams will be held.

Spring (dates not determined) — the first round of Euro 2025 selection (U-17) and the qualifying round of Euro 2025 selection (U-19) will be drawn.
June — the Olympic team of Ukraine will take part in a friendly tournament with the Olympic teams of other countries, which will be held in Toulon, France.
7 June draw will be held for the first round of European Championship selection 2024/2025 for women's national teams WU-17 and WU-19.
June 14 - July 14 the final part of Euro-2024 will be held. In case of success in the play-off selection, the national team of Ukraine will play in group E, where Belgium, Slovakia and Romania were placed according to the results of the draw.
July 10-16 matches of the 5st-6nd rounds of the Euro-2025 qualifying tournament among women's teams will be held.
July 12 the draw for the main round of Euro-2026 futsal selection will take place, in which the Ukrainian national team will begin its journey.
July 19 the draw for the play-offs of the Euro-2025 qualifying tournament among women's teams will take place.
July 24 - August 9 men's football tournament will be held at the 2024 Olympics. The national team of Ukraine, led by Ruslan Rotan, will take part in Olympic competitions for the first time.
