Blue-yellows continue preparation for the final of the Euro-2024 selection play-off against the Iceland national team. Oleksandr Zinchenko, the midfielder of our team, shared his thoughts on the upcoming confrontation.

"Preparation is going well, we'll see what we can demonstrate on the football field, because practice is one thing, and the game is another. We need to confirm our status because I think we have a very good team, good players. We have to show our best game.

During training, we are more focused on our game. Yes, we analyzed the Iceland national team, saw its strengths and weaknesses. Let's see how it all ends. Icelanders like to play in four defenders, like to act on counterattacks. There are players to watch out for. But first of all, you need to push yourself away from your game, and then we'll see.

I believe that with our support in the stands, everything is up to us. We were told that there will be a full stadium, which is very nice. Support from our fans always helps.

Of course, it is necessary to say every day that Ukraine needs world support, it is necessary to shout about it. It is necessary to remind people, because maybe some people forget about it. As I said earlier, Ukraine today is like a shield for the whole of Europe. Because today the war is in our country, and tomorrow it may already be in yours. So we have to support each other. Good always wins over evil," Oleksandr Zinchenko said.
