Midfielder of the Ukrainian national team Mykhailo Mudryk was recognized by the fans as the "Lion of the match" - the best player of the Euro-2024 qualification play-off match against Iceland.

Yesterday, in the final of the Euro-2024 qualification play-off, the blue-yellow team won a strong-willed victory over the Icelanders — 2:1. This victory secured Serhiy Rebrov's team entry into the final tournament. Mykhailo Mudryk, who scored the winning goal for our national team, was named "Lion of the match" by the fans.

There was a very good atmosphere both in the dressing room and on the field. I believe that this greatly contributed to our victory. My goal? As of now, it is one of the most important in my career," said Mykhailo Mudryk.
