Training courses for physical education teachers in the "Football" direction were held in Zhytomyr

Over the course of several days, training courses for physical education teachers in the field of "Football" were held in Zhytomyr at "Spartak-Arena".

Training took place in face-to-face training courses, as well as educational trainings and seminars. The program was implemented through lectures, seminars and practical classes.

The theoretical classes were conducted by the first deputy chairman of the Zhytomyr Regional Football Association Volodymyr Doroshenko and the methodologist of ZHOIPPO Andriy Goshko, the practical classes were conducted by the teacher of secondary school No. 5 of the city of Korosten, Ihor Okhrimchuk, who was included in the top ten physical education teachers of Ukraine.

Thanks to the courses, 27 teachers of the region had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with modern trends and current issues of the development of school football in Ukraine and in certain regions in accordance with the concept of "New Ukrainian School" and in conditions of decentralization; learn the basic concepts, terms and rules of playing football and the possibilities of studying them at school; to master the basics of organization and methods of conducting a football lesson at school, the method of teaching the elements of football technique according to the school program.

The executive director of the regional football association, Ruslan Majevskyi, also visited the courses and wished the teachers to successfully consolidate the acquired skills and apply them in practice.

After completing the courses, the teachers received certificates and a D-diploma. The coaching license "D-diploma UAF" is the initial level in the coaching training system.

We would like to remind you that the course program was developed by the Ukrainian Football Association and recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and is implemented jointly with the Zhytomyr Regional Football Association and the Zhytomyr OIPPO.
