The FIFA TDS Talent Development Scheme visited Transcarpathia

Within the framework of the FIFA TDS Talent Development Scheme, testing of boys and girls from the communities of Serednya and Velykoluchka was held.

Today, for the first time, the Serednyanskyi Stadium hosted UAF specialists who, together with the coaches of the above-mentioned TGs, tested children of the junior school level, who live in rural areas and for a number of reasons are not involved in organized football, and immigrant children.

Valery Zolotukhin - head of the UAF youth football department, Ruslan Chornak - head of the Serednyan settlement council and Oleksandr Petsa - head of the youth and sports department of the Serednyan settlement council congratulated the participants at the grand opening of the event.

After the performance of the National Anthem, all participants honored the memory of the fallen soldiers with a moment of silence. During the opening, football equipment and balls from UAF were presented to teachers and coaches, and children received certificates and medals for participating in a new, interesting project.

As part of the pilot project for the implementation of the FIFA Talent Development Program, UAF focused on identifying young talents by testing their natural physical abilities and further organizational support for the development of identified potential talents. This process should definitely be nationwide, but for now the focus is on the regional level, namely TG, towns and villages, whose children have never been exposed to this kind of testing and, for the most part, to an organized football process. It is this approach that will make it possible to identify and support all talented players as much as possible, informing the nearest children's football academies and the Youth Football Academy about their potential.

The main tool of the project is an analytical system designed specifically for testing children aged 8-12 years to assess physical abilities and potential for their development in case of involvement in a professionally organized training process. Both boys and girls are involved in the project. In total, 158 young football players were protested in two communities.
