Officially. FIFA's decision to downgrade FC Dnipro's core team
On May 6, 2017, the FIFA Disciplinary Committee decided on the main team of FC Dnipro (Dnipro), according to which the main team of FC Dnipro (Dnipro) will be downgraded if the club does not repay the existing financial debt to the plaintiff.
After that, FIFA sent a letter to the Football Federation of Ukraine, informing that the plaintiff appealed to the FIFA Disciplinary Committee with a request to apply a sanction for demotion in the class of the main team of FC "Dnipro" (Dnipro). Thus, FIFA confirmed that FC "Dnipro" (Dnipro) has not repaid the debt to the plaintiff, and therefore, there are all grounds for the decision to downgrade the club in the class.
The Football Federation of Ukraine has sent an official letter to the President of OFK Professional Football League of Ukraine with a request to take into account the above information on the relegation of the main team of FC Dnipro (Dnipro) and use it in further work.
