The most important news of the offseason was the decision of FC Poltava to refuse to participate in the championship of Ukraine among the teams of the Premier League. Poltava refused to play at the Vorskla stadium and expressed a desire to declare the Lokomotiv arena, which does not have the appropriate certificate of certification from the UPL. As a result, the Premier League, acting in accordance with the requirements of the statute, in order to ensure the integrity and continuity of the competition initiated a general meeting of UPL participants with the intention to exclude FC Poltava from the UPL participants and identify and accept a new participant.
