Proxime Kherson to participate in the first UEFA Futsal Champions League tournament
57 clubs, including Ukrainian Prodexim, will take part in the first draw of the UEFA Futsal Champions League.
23 clubs with the highest odds received a pass to the main round, the remaining 34 will start in the previous one. The draw for both stages will take place on July 5 (starting at 15.15 pm Kyiv time) as part of one ceremony.
The preliminary round will take place from August 28 to September 2. In it, 34 participants will be divided into seven groups of four teams and two of three. Nine group winners will advance to the main round.
The main round will last from October 2 to 7. The winner of the UEFA Cup "Inter", the first 11 teams of the UEFA rating and the clubs that occupy the 16th-19th places will follow the A path. This is where Prodexim will start, which currently holds the 17th place in the ranking. The teams will be divided into four groups, and the three strongest of each will advance to the elite round.
Team B will be ranked in the UEFA rankings in 12th-15th and 20th-22nd places, as well as nine winners of the groups of the previous round. They will also be divided into four fours, the winners of which qualify for the elite round.
In the elite round, 16 clubs will again be divided into four groups, the winners of which will receive a pass to the finals. The deadline for the elite round is November 13-18. The draw is on October 14.
The final part of the UEFA Futsal Champions League draw will take place on April 25-27 or April 26-28, 2019 at the venue of one of the participants. The date of the final draw has not yet been determined.
