Premier League: Alexandria rises to first place in championship table
Today there were three final matches of the 3rd round of the Ukrainian championship. She continued her winning streak "Alexandria", which has not lost points this season. Instead, Arsenal-Kyiv lost for the third time in a row.
Karpaty confidently played the first half again, scoring twice, but Lviv didn't have enough to win. "Olympic" became the first team that managed to play two conceded goals this season. The French rookie of the "Olympians" Maxim Teixeira scored a goal in his first match in the Ukrainian Premier League.
"Alexandria" won a convincing victory in Chernihiv, beating its old acquaintance in the first league - "Desna". The team from Kirovohrad region won for the third time this season without conceding to their own goal, and thanks to the best goal difference they topped the standings.
But Arsenal-Kyiv after the home defeat by Mariupol remained the only team in the Premier League that does not have a single point. Azov won the championship for the first time. Earlier this season, they won only in the Europa League.
