Premier League. "Alexandria" in Kiev snatched a strong-willed victory from "Olympic"
After Shakhtar's victory over Karpaty in Lviv, the 10th round of the Ukrainian championship continued on September 29 with a match in Kyiv, where Olimpik hosted Oleksandriya.
"Alexandria" started powerfully in the season, winning four "dry" victories at the beginning of the championship, but then lost to "Dynamo" (0: 1) and played five more matches (including the Cup of Ukraine), which managed to win only one times (in the home walls of "Vorskla" - 2: 0).
At the last cup match, against Odessa "Chernomorets", Vladimir Sharan deliberately put a reserve team. The coach clearly divided the priorities, betting on the championship. As a result, in Odessa, "Alexandria" stopped fighting for the Cup (0: 3), but in Kiev held a heroic match, in which she snatched the victory, losing in the course of the game.
Olimpik, on the other hand, had a hard time entering the season, but after meeting Shakhtar (2: 5) they won three of the four matches and went to the game with the Alexandrians in a good mood, beating Zirka the day before.
The debut of the match was better for the hosts: in the 11th minute Koltsov opened the scoring. The Alexandrians responded fairly quickly with Shastal's goal, but soon missed again.
The second half decided the fate of the match. Yevgeny Banada scored first, scoring a goal in the 73rd minute, and at the end of the match the referee awarded a penalty shot by Gritsuk, who gave the visitors a strong-willed victory — 3:2.
