Roberto Mancini: "We have a lot of draws, I'm already tired of them"

The head coach of the Italian national team shared with the media his impressions of his team's game in the control match with Ukraine:

- We must be angrier and always move forward, be more aggressive in attack. Matches are won only through goals, because of anger. We took the lead, but as soon as we relaxed, we scored a goal.

I am satisfied with our players and, in particular, with our debutants. Everyone makes mistakes, but still the guys are good, they played well. We didn't have enough of a winning goal, so I'm a little disappointed. The team is going through a difficult period, but showed a good game.

Three forwards? This scheme worked well, we used it for the first time, and in my opinion, it worked.

Indeed, we have a lot of draws, I'm tired of them too. These are the effects of the crisis that began two months ago. But I hope on Sunday it will end and we will show our best football. The difference between the first and the second half was noticeable, the substitutions were a little let down.

Fans, like us, coaches are upset by this result. Of course, everyone would be happy to win over Ukraine. We are dissatisfied with the draw, but satisfied with the quality of our game.
